"SK" was a rap band project born in the classrooms of Pintor Almada Negreiros School in Lisbon. The band was composed of students who expressed their views and concerns through music, discussing pressing issues in their environment and broader global challenges. Their lyrics offered a window into how they perceive the world around them, mixing personal insights with societal commentary.
The process of writing and discussing these songs transformed the act of creating music videos into an educational experience that extended beyond traditional learning spaces. This approach allowed the classroom to evolve into a dynamic workshop where music and education converged, creating a unique environment for the students to develop their artistic talents while engaging critically with the issues they care about.
